How one young believer’s prayer began to impact his entire family

João (15) is one of those stories. He recently decided to follow Jesus and is already living out his faith in everyday moments. One night, before going to sleep, he told his family he wanted to pray—even though his father, Mr. Mariano, was drunk at the time.
After João prayed, something unexpected happened: his father suddenly became sick. Since then, every time he drinks, the same thing occurs.
Now, his father is asking questions and seeking help. We’re praying and believing this is the beginning of a deeper encounter with God—not just for him, but for the whole family.
